Refund Policy
Returns We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. The buyer is responsible for the return shipping costs. To start a return, you must contact us at hello@insectarts.com first. Items sent back to us without prior authorization will not be accepted.
Phygital & NFC Activation Policy Our artworks feature an integrated NFC chip that unlocks a unique digital sanctuary. To qualify for a return under the "unused" condition, the NFC tag must remain unscanned and the digital experience unaccessed. Once the NFC has been tapped or any associated digital content has been claimed, the item is considered fully consumed, and the sale becomes final. We verify NFC activation logs during the return inspection.
Damages and Issues (Transit Damage) Please inspect your order upon reception. Since our products are fragile framed artworks, if the frame or specimen is damaged during international transit, please contact us at hello@insectarts.com within 48 hours of delivery with clear photographs of the damaged item and the outer packaging. We will evaluate the issue and make it right by offering a replacement or a refund.
Exceptions / Non-returnable items (Natural Variations) Please understand that you are purchasing natural biological art. Minor natural imperfections, such as microscopic asymmetry in antennae, slight wing wear, or natural color variations, are normal and do not constitute a "defective" product. We do not accept returns based on these natural, unique characteristics.
Refunds We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
